Shayla's story
Shayla was close to death when she was rescued by a young man and his mother.. freezing and starving, huddled in a pile of leaves to escape windy, below-zero weather. The humans put him into a box with some blankets and brought him to the TLCit didnt appear that she would even survive, but Shayla surprised us all. It was a slow process, but each day she gained strength . She is now an active, healthy (sometimes naughty) young lady who loves everyone, both canine and human. She is a bit reserved at firstabout five minutesand is then ready for a snuggle, a playtime, or a walk. Shayla would be a great companion for just about anyone who had a fenced area where she could run and play, and who had the time to help her reach her awesome potential.
